Hooray! We're going on Holiday!
Downing are learning about geography, history and art through holidays this half term. Just for fun (and to put us in the right frame of mind), our Entry Point took us on a series of mini-breaks. To prepare, we made some hats and sunglasses.
First, we boarded the plane. We watched the safety talk...

We visited Paris, Rome, New York and London. We saw all the sights!
Finally, we finished off with a summer beach holiday, where we ate ice-cream and played ball games on the beach.

Following Instructions
Today, Downing Class decorated biscuits! They were learning to follow instructions. Tomorrow, we are going to write the instructions for decorating biscuits. Our favourite instruction was 'Eat biscuit'!
